Motorized Panic Lock System

Brief

This system combined electromechanical hardware, safety expectations, and certification requirements in a product where failure modes had to be treated seriously.

What I Built

I developed the underlying hardware platform, handled PCB layout execution, and supported the certification path required for the finished lock assembly.

Constraints

Access-control hardware is shaped as much by standards and reliability expectations as it is by feature development. The work required careful attention to the physical system, the electronics, and the regulatory path at the same time.

Outcome

The result was a hardware foundation that supported a production-grade locking system rather than an isolated engineering prototype.
